My very first update from Ulyanovsk

Hello, it's been a crazy month since my last post. Sekarang gue lagi tidur-tiduran dikasur minjem laptop temen. Udah bukan di Indonesia, tapi di Russia tepatnya di kota Ulyanovsk, sekitar 900 km sebelah timur Moscow. Ya, tanggal 24 Oktober kemaren akhirnya gue meninggalkan tanah air, mencoba peruntungan dinegeri beruang merah. Kira-kira jam 15.00 gue udah sampe airport, check in dan blablabla, boarding jam 17.30. Dari jauh kelihatan temen-temen seperjuangan pada ribet dengan bawaan mereka masing-masing yang masya Allaaaaaaaaaah....banyaknya, gue ketawa dalam hati karna kayanya cuma bawaan gue yang paling simple. Cuma 1 koper dan 1 hand carry ukuran sedang. That's all.

Gue ke airport sama bokap, tante Baby dan koko Uya. Sampe sana abang & kakak gue nyusul. Baru deh dateng nyokap sama nenek gue. Ga disangka-sangka Ipak, Lika, Irin & Tania juga dateng. Gue seneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeng banget :') Sampe kira-kira udah mepet banget mau masuk boarding room, masih belom ada air mata menetes tuh eh tau-tau Meymey sama Nabila dateng sambil lari-lari, Meymey nangis, Nabila juga. Terus pelukan sambil nangis. Ya gue juga ikutan lah jadinya :'''''''''''( Ga ngobrol banyak, gue udah harus masuk boarding room. Gue meluk abang & kakak, tante Baby & papa dengan berat hati. Ditengah keharu biruan, papa sempet berbisik pelan, "Take a good care nak, I'm gonna miss you." Sedih banget deh.. Entah kapan lagi ketemu. Mata gue sembab, ingus gue beleleran kemana-mana. Dengan membaca basmallah akhirnya pesawat yang gue naikin bertolak ke Moscow........

Ga langsung ke Moscow sih.

Transit dulu di Abu Dhabi hehe. Transitnya lama kira-kira 9 jam. Nyalain wifi hp taunya BBM tetep aktif. Seneng bukan main, langsung update kabar sama bokap dan nyokap, terus sempet bales-balesin good-luck-wishes di BBM. Ga terasa 9 jam berlalu, paginya udah harus lanjut terbang lagi ke Moscow. Sekitar 6 jam penerbangan, akhirnya mendarat di Domodedovo International Airport. Sampe sana udah dijemput orang-orang dari pihak KBRI, kementrian pendidikan Russia dan beberapa teman-teman PERMIRA (Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Russia). Tanpa banyak basa-basi kita langsung di-distribusikan ke kota masing-masing. Gue sama temen satu kota gue, Willy, langsung dianter ke train station untuk melanjutkan perjalanan ke Ulyanovsk. Perjalanan dengan kereta memakan waktu kira-kira 14 jam, tapi nyaman kok karena di kereta dapet flat-bed bukan kursi ekonomi kayak di pesawat, jadi ya asik bisa selonjoran. Nyampe Ulyanovsk dijemput sama temen gue Julio dan seorang senior di kampus, langsung registrasi dorm. Gue sekamar sama 3 orang cewek dari Turkmenistan. Namanya Aynabat, Nargizha dan Makula. Semuanya baik dan cantik. Sayang kendalanya adalah mereka sama sekali ga bisa bahasa inggris. Even a simple word like; thank you. Mereka bengong ga tau mau jawab apa. Yang bisa bahasa inggris dikamar gue cuma Nargizha, jadi dialah yang selama ini berjasa dalam mentransliterasi ucapan gue ke yang lain and vice versa. Kadang ada juga sih yang berusaha berkomunikasi sama gue pake google translate atau bahasa isyarat. Kayak waktu itu Aynabat ngomong ke gue yg lagi bengong tiduran dikasur:

"Suci, you are boring"

Gue kaget, anjrit. Terang-terangan abis bilang gue ngebosenin. Terus gue diem, mata gue tertumbuk pada layar netbook nya dia. Ternyata dia lagi buka google translate dan maksudnya adalah, "SUCI, KAMU BOSAN YAAA?" Hahahaha -_________-

Ya gitu lah. Banyak kejadian-kejadian lucu disini cuma gara-gara salah nangkep ucapan. Banyak kejadian yang membuka mata gue lebih melek. Oya, sebenernya gue mau pamer foto, tapi sayang ini pake laptop temen gue, males mindah-midahinnya hehe. Yaudah, gue ngantuk. Tidur dulu ya, assalamualaikum. Kiss kiss!

Hi, blog. Just realized today is the last day of September. Time flies so fast, eh. And that's sad, considering October might be my last month in Indonesia (until I don't know when), since, yeah, remember this? I finally got the letter of acceptance for a scholarship I applied on March, Alhamdulillah. You kno' I've been waiting for oh-so-long period of time. It seemed so unreal to me. It still is. Me? Moscow? Next month?

So..........I'm sort of busy preparing for visa and stuffs. Not THAT busy actually (I still have loads of spare time, laying on bed, watching DVDs heheh) but I realized, the time is getting closer and closer. Yet, there's still SOOO MANY MANY MANY things I'd like to do before I go, like, hanging out with friends, going to Green Canyon with Ipak, volunteering on Java Jazz Festival 2012 (did I ever tell you before? Yes, Peter Gontha picked me as a volunteer! I'm lucky, I know. But still..I couldn't join -_- ) or spend the nights together again with Ardi, Albi, Yogi & Ryan in Bandung just like we did last May & July. Etcetera. Etcetera.

By the way, I kinda feel like being left behind somehow. People are busy with their works. Chasing dreams. Then I look at myself & ask, "Have fun wasting your time, huh?" geez, I need to do something useful instead of spamming on my Plurk timeline with no one seems to care haha. Everyday I wake up all alone. Go out of my room and find no one but Lucy, my furball. We play for a couple of minutes and she ends up scratching my leg. So I walk back to my room. Learn some Russian-Phrases-For-Dummies or sing and duck-dance like a dumbass. I don't blame anyone for being so busy tho'. I simply need someone to talk to. Is it normal to feel this way? But hey, think again! That's what a blog is for, right? To spill it all out. To empty what's on your mind. AND I THANK YOU, BLOG. For being such a good listener.

Sometimes I get asked how life is goin' by some people. And I always say my life is simply great when it's actually a piece of shit. Or when some people asks me what's wrong, I will say, "Nothing, I'm just tired". I'm that kinda person, I'm pretty good when it comes to hiding things. Yes, there are times when I get down and being so emo. Plurk // tweet // blog some chessy and corny words.....but it doesn't last. I don't think being sad and emotional show our weakness, it's just very human, it shows that you're alive.

I'm fine, I feel like a kiddie with a cotton-candy on their hand and running around the theme-park, or maybe I feel like jumping on a trampoline, and for this time; I'm not lying. Yesterday I got a hole in my socks but still, life's been so damn good to me so far. I went to Bandung last weekend with Ardi, Yogi & Rian. We sang together, we ate delicious grilled-ribs around Jl. Riau, we cooked Indomie for breakfast, we enjoyed the night lights, we shared some stories & jokes. The other day, I spent 2 nights on Nabila's crib. Met my senior high-school friends in the morning; Ipak, Tania, Irin, Dea, Tirka. Had sushi together. That was fun. Real fun. At home, I choose to improve my cooking-skills. I've made choco oatmeal-cookies, broccoli with self-made cheese sauce, tortilla chips and karaage, beef bruschetta, pizza, macaroni schotel, onigiri filled with tuna and cheese, choco pudding with vla & fruits, cake pops, or something simple like kue cubit. -- Sounds om nom nom, yes? I looooove the feeling when someone, whole-heartedly, says that it's tasty and asks me for some more.

Alhamdulillah, I don't find it really hard to move forwards after a heart-breaking moment of my life. Life is just too awesome, and I MEAN IT.

Hmmm...tapi kalau ditanya tipe pria idaman saya seperti apa, saya sih lebih suka menjawab: cowok yang cowok banget. Bukan berarti harus punya perut kotak-kotak, berdada bidang dan kekar. Tapi saya pengen cowok yang bertanggung jawab, disisi lain humoris, spontaneous, sayang keluarga, berwawasan luaaas, tidak banyak mengeluh, tegas dan punya wibawa. Seperti ayah saya! :)

Makanya jangan heran kalau tiba-tiba saya kehilangan nafsu saya kepada pria yang mencla-mencle/klemar-klemer/apapun yang sejenis dan ga bisa pegang inisiatif segimanapun gantengnya pria tersebut haha.

Halo apa kabar? Gak terasa udah bulan Mei aja. Tinggal hitungan hari gue bakal menginjak tahun terakhir gue sebagai teenager. Makin tua ya gue. Oya, Alhamdulillah banget sejauh ini gue udah lolos 2 tahap beasiswa Russia. Seleksi berkas oleh pihak Pusat Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Kebudayaan Rusia & sesi wawancara. Tinggal 1 tahap seleksi lagi, yaitu seleksi berkas oleh pihak Kementrian Pendidikan Russia. Gue sih belom mau berharap muluk-muluk dulu, bukannya pesimis, tapi gue lebih prepare for the worst aja. Gak ada yang gak mungkin kan buat terjadi. Tapi gak bisa dipungkiri hal ini benar-benar melambungkan impian gue jauh ke Russia sana hahaha I'm so excited! Tinggal banyak-banyak do'a aja. Semoga dikasih kesempatan untuk membuktikan diri, kalo gue juga bisa. BIG AMIN. Wish me all the luck peeps!!!

Oke, udah lama gak cerita-cerita ya. Jadi gini, semenjak awal tahun 2011 tepatnya awal bulan Maret ini kayanya gue selalu dirundung duka.....putus sama pacar....putus tali persaudaraan dengan Emma Watson.... ...

Stop, stop. Bukan saatnya bercanda. Lagi pula itu gak lucu -_-
Jadi gue sebulanan terakhir ini jadi suka gelisah, uring-uringan gak jelas gitu, kalau anak-anak jaman sekarang sih bilangnya; gue galau. Iya gue galau. Kebanyakan bengong, mikirin yang sedih-sedih. Namanya juga lagi patah hati, wajar dong (membela diri). Dengerin lagu sedih-sedih malah makin memperburuk keadaan. Ditambah masalah kuliah ini dan itu. Masalah internal keluarga dsb. Gue yang terpojokkan. Gue yang mejadi biang dari segala masalah. Akibatnya pola makan berantakan. Pola tidur apalagi. Pola mandi jangan ditanya. Akhir-akhirnya gue malah divonis (cie) kena thypus. Jadinya harus bedrest kurang-lebih 10 harian. Dan situasinya adalah gue lagi dikost-an gue yang berada di pinggiran kota kembang, Bandung. Jauh dari keluarga. Bener-bener sebatang kara. Gue sih biasanya gak semanja itu, gue udah biasa ngelakuin apa-apa sendiri. Tapi sekarang rasanya......ngerti kan? Sedihnya lagi sakit dan gak punya temen ngobrol disaat masalah-masalah datang beruntun tanpa ampun, sejauh mata memandang cuma sepetak ruangan berukuran 3x4 yang terasa dingin, remang-remang karena pendaran lampu natal yang berkelipan. Dengan laptop yang terus-menerus mengalunkan nada-nada 'lembek' yang membuat gua makin tenggelam dalam kesendirian. Setiap malem gue kesepian, gak bisa berhenti menyalahkan diri sendiri, dan akhirnya nangis sampe ketiduran.

Tapi life must goes on. Gue gak bisa terus-terusan ngecewain orang tua gue dengan keadaan gue yang kayak gini. Gue sadar gue udah buang banyak waktu gue yang sangaaaaaaaaaat berharga dengan hal yang gak seharusnya. Cowok yang udah pergi pun gak ada gunanya terus-terusan ditangisin walaupun gak munafik sometimes kepikiran dan bikin sedih juga. Tapi toh dia gak bakal noleh kebelakang. Gue pun juga gak mau dia ngeliat gue terpuruk setelah putus. Ya ampun bahkan sebenernya gue gak rela mengakui kalo gue dalam keadaan 'terpuruk'. Pokoknya sih, gue gak mau dikasihani.
Yaudahlah, singkat kata, gue yang sekarang sih emang belom bisa bangkit seutuhnya. Tapi belajar dari kesalahan-kesalahan masa lalu........ya masa iya sih gue mau terus-terusan gini? Doing nothing but crying. Nyeselin hal-hal yang gak seharusnya gue lakuin. Nyeselin hal-hal yang seharusnya gue lakuin saat kesempatan datang. Sembrono dalam mengambil keputusan. Menganggap enteng masalah sampai akhirnya semua berbalik dan menyalahkan gue. Blablabla. Blablabla. Gue gak mau hidup gue terus-terusan dipenuhi dengan rasa penyesalan.

Yow people, gue baru balik lagi kekosan. I had a great 5 days this week. Gak ada jadwal UTS, jadinya bisa pulang kota ke Jakarta. Walaupun rasanya bentar banget cuma liburan 5 hari, tapi libur kemaren ini sangat gua manfaatkan sebaik-baiknya kok dengan mengerjakan tugas konstruksi 3D.....

he boong deng.

Gue bawa tugas tapi gak gue sentuh sama sekali tuh dirumah. Males. Jadi selama 5 hari itu gua santai-santai, hari pertama sampe di Jakarta udah malem, dijemput mama di halte shuttle bus komplek. Seneng, udah lama gak ketemu. Terus makan malem dulu sambil ngobrol-ngobrol. Terus pulang. Sampe rumah ngobrol lagi. Terus tidur.

Ini dia pemandangan dari bis yang menyambutku pada malam itu, gerimis romantis.

Hari kedua ketemu Nabila deh nonton Step Up 3D hehehe tapi abis itu udah cuma bentar soalnya doi lagi intensif latihan marching buat GPMB akhir tahun ini. Kasian deh kecapean gitu dia kayanya.

Hari ketiga tiduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuur dirumah.

Hari keempat main kerumah Lika, ngobroooooooooooool terus ampe tenggorokan gue sakit (serius gak lebay) tapi tetap menyenangkan. Terus nebeng timbangan badan rumahnya doi dan shock gue naik 3 kilo!!!!!! -____- inilah akibat punya kostan sebelahan sama Alfamart dan pusat jajanan lainnya.

Hari kelima gue sedih, gue gak mau pulang dan kembali tenggelam dengan rutinitas gue yang menyedihkan disini.

Di Sukabirus yang sama menyedihkannya dengan gue.

Cool Ways to Kill Yourself

Get a LOT of explosives. The more the better.
Hook up a detonator to an altimeter. Set it for 100-200 feet. That will give you good dispersion.
Mix vaseline and gasoline in a bucket.
Find a really tall building. Something like the World Trade Center is perfect and is in a sufficiently crowded area to generate the proper sized crowd.
Get an extra large trench coat, ski mask, duct tape and a lighter.
Bring your materials to the top of your building. Liberally apply the vaseline-gasoline mixture to your entire body. Duct tape the explosives around your legs, arms, head and torso. The more you use the better. You cannot overdo this. Attach the altimeter to the explosives.
Put on the trench coat and mask so that the explosives are not visible.
Start ranting and throwing things so that you are sure to attract notice. Drag this part out as long as possible. Say anything that comes to mind but try to stay away from real problems. Your love life DOES NOT make for a good sound bite. Ask for news cameras from the major networks. Pace around a lot while waving your arms.
DO NOT let on that you have explosives on your body. The police will clear the area and you definitely don't want that.
When you've gotten the crowd to a fevered pitch, when the helicopters are hovering like vultures, whip off the jacket and set yourself on fire.
Wait until you are completely engulfed in flame then jump.
Try to steer yourself towards the crowd. That way flaming falling body parts will pelt the fleeing onlookers when you explode.
Congratulations! You've just made history.

kayak nya gue gak jadi nyoba ITB lagi tahun depan. Jangan tanya kenapa deh, gue juga lagi gak mood nyeritainnya.

Tapi kalian pasti penasaran kan kenapa? Yaudah deh gue kasih tau (zzz), yaaa.....entahlah, tiba-tiba gue udah ngerasa ikhlas aja gitu. Lagian kayanya yang gue pengen tuh sebenernya bukan 'ITB' nya, tapi.....gue pengen ngegambar. Gue pengen terus bisa nuangin apa aja yang ada dipikiran gue kedalam visual, atau apapun. Dan lagipula dari dulu tiap gue ditanyain cita-cita gue apa, gue jawabnya "Keliling dunia!!!! Ayo kita ke Prague! Ke London! Ke France! Ke Turkey! Ke Mesir! Ke New York City!", bukannya mentok di Indonesia dan kuliah di ITB...... (haha). Tapi munafik sih namanya kalo gue bilang gue ga mau masuk ITB. Gue mau kok. Mau banget malah. Tapi gue ngerasa apa yang udah dikasih tuhan buat gue saat ini tuh udah luar biasa. Bukannya gue bersikap pasrah atau gimana, tapi kan ada saatnya lo harus 'let it go' suatu hal yang lo dambakan. Bokap gue juga pernah bilang: "Sesuatu yang terlihat indah dimata belom tentu sebenarnya baik pula untuk kita" dan gue rasa itu ada benernya juga. Mungkin kalo misalnya gue masuk ITB gue bakal jadi cewek bandel yang kerjanya mabok dan suka ngerokok karna ketemu temen-temen yang salah? Atau mungkin kalo sekarang gue tetep disini nanti gue bakal jadi designer sekaligus seniman terkenal yang dapet kesempatan buat keliling dunia? Who knows? Ga ada yang tau kita bakal jadi apa kan kedepannya? 'Barrack Obama' yang nyuruh kulieeaah di BSI aja buktinya sekarang bisa jadi presiden US kan. Jadi yaaaaaaa kesimpulannya, gue kayaknya gak bakal ikutan ITB lagi tahun depan.

Oya, gue juga akhir-akhir ini males ngerjain tugas, sebenernya bukannya males sih, cuma emang tugasnya aja gak menarik, gitu-gitu doang (sombong). Beberapa kali sih gue coba ngerjain tugas, yang disuruh dosennya apa, tapi gue ngerjainnya malah lain. Kenapa ya gue selalu melawan arus dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan dosen. Hal ini berdampak pada tugas-tugas yang udah gue kerjain sepenuh hati, udah keren (menurut gue -_-), bikinnya ampe begadang-begadang eeeeeeh......taunya cuma dapet B.

Pernah gak sih ngalamin disaat lo ngelakuin suatu hal dan tiba-tiba ada suara bertanya sama lo, "Lo ngapain sih disini? Apa bener ini yang lo mau?" ya kira-kira gitu deh, kayak jauh didalem hati lo sendiri berontak. Dan lo ga bisa apa-apa. Ibaratnya lo udah terlanjur masuk kedalam lubang besar yang lo sendiri bingung gimana caranya buat keluar darisana.

Bahkan semakin lo berusaha buat manjat lubang itu, lo malah semakin jatuh kedalamnya.

Unimportant update

Ayeee, besok rencananya mau pergi cari kost-kost an lho. Tapi doain aja gak diundur lagi. Akhirnyaaaaaaaaa.....ini yg gue impi-impiin selama ini; hidup sendiri dikota orang, Bandung tepatnya. Sebelom merantau dinegeri orang ada baiknya belajar hidup sendiri didalam negeri dulu kan hehe. Semoga aja gue dapet kost-an yang bagus dengan harga yang masih bisa diterima nalar, ibu kost nya juga gak rewel, deket darimana-mana, kamarnya boleh gue permak sesuka hati, pokoknya yang enak deh. Walaupun gue bisa dibilang 'terpaksa' buat masuk kampus ini, paling gak gue harus punya kamar yang bisa bikin gue nyaman dengan segala keruwetan yang bakal gue hadapin nanti pas kuliah.

Oya sepatu, gue juga butuh sepatu!! Butuh banget! Berhubung saat ini Nike Nylon masih sangat mustahil untuk didapatkan, selain karna harganya yang muahal dan lain hal. Jadi tampaknya gue bakal minta beliin sneakers lagi aja. Atau Reebok Freestyle itu juga kalo nemu yang gue pengenin. Yang penting punya alas kaki dulu deh, sedih nih gue cuma punya 2 pasang sepatu...

Gue juga perlu banyaaaaaaaak outfit buat kuliah. Khususnya celana panjang. Maaaan, gue cuma punya 1 celana jeans panjang dan itupun tidak diketahui sekarang dimana keberadaannya, kayaknya sih ketinggalan dirumah Tirka waktu gue nginep. Gak tau deh. Yang pasti gue perlu banget celana jeans panjang. Kalo pendek sih gue banyak. Banyak banget malah, kemana-mana gue pake celana pendek. Sering saltum juga kalo pergi kesuatu tempat ngeliat yang lain pake celana panjang dan gue pake celana pendek sendirian. Lalu semua mata tertuju pada gue. Menatap dengan tatapan nista. Maaf, maaf. Bukan maksudnya sok asik, tapi gue emang gak punya celana panjang, ditambah gue juga gak suka make celana panjang, soalnya ribet gitu panas rasanya gak bebas. Tapi sekarang kan beda hal.. Gue udah mo kuliah, kuliah menuntut gue untuk punya celana panjang, yang gile aje lo masa gue kuliah pake short pants. Terus kemeja-kemeja juga masih harus ditambah stock nya....kaos.....baju buat jalan.......pakean dalem....semuanya lah.

Kuliah gue juga perlu tablet pc....gak hanya sekedar perlu tapi secara pribadi gue emang beneran kepengen. Kalo bisa sih sekalian DSLR, tapi kayaknya gak mungkin. Kalo ampe gue dibeliin tablet pc juga bisa-bisa abang gue ngamuk semua yang gue pengenin dibeliin sama nyokap. Jadi setelah menimbang-nimbang yang mana yang harus didahulukan yang mana yang tidak, juga atas saran dari teman-teman, kayaknya pilihan gue jatuh di tablet pc. Soal kamera gampang deh (ceileh gampang, duit darimane nyet) entar nabung aja kalo gak entar gue kerja apaan kek gitu biar dapet duit tambahan. Kan rasanya juga beda kalo dapetin sesuatu hasil kerja keras sendiri.

Hhmmm....terus gue juga harus punya kompor listrik, sama mini rice-cooker just in case tengah malem gue kelaperan jadi gampang deh tinggal masak mie instant. Hanya dalam 3 menit masalah perut teratasi.

Hah....apalagi ya. Udah kayaknya. Yaudah deh tidur ah. Baibai.

I usually don't like shopping for some shoes. All I have is just 2 pairs of shoes; 1 pair of sneakers (which I forgot where did I put it) and 1 other pair for school. (poor me, I know). But when it comes to lace, or flower patterns... I REALLY CAN'T HELP IT!!!!! Those pretty little things from Wondershoe really got my heart, I want 'emmmmmmmm
